It's been a while since my last post and I am trying to get back in to this. A lot has happend throughout this year. It was a pretty low key Spring but the summer came with some exciting things. On July 24th, the day before my birthday, Jimmy and I were getting ready to head down to Maryland for the weekend to see Jeff, Erin and the kids. As we were getting in the car Jimmy asked me to marry him! He wanted to do it as a birthday present so on top of an eventful weekend in Baltimore we got engaged!
Erin's friend had a hotel 
room booked in Baltimore that night but had to cancel her plans. She had Erin pay $50 to change the date, so we stayed in a gorgeous hotel close to the pier for $50! We had an amazing sushi dinner that night after running a few blocks through a torrential downpour but it was worth it!

The plan was to leave early that Sunday so that I could make it in time for Nicolina's bridal shower. On the way out, there was a full size spare in the middle of the highway that Jimmy could not avoid. In running it over, it totalled the bottom of Jimmy's car leaving us stranded until the next morning when we were able to rent a car and make the trip home. All in all a great weekend!!
